France is now 6-2 all-time against three-time titlist Germany in a series that dates back to 1913. This marks their first meeting in four years. The nine-time Davis Cup champion French are captained by Guy Forget, while Patrik Kuhnen heads up the German squad. The quality French contingent will face the Spain-Switzerland victor in the round of eight.
